VAALHARTS

The Vaalharts  agricultural valley is a fertile irrigation valley. Situated in North-east part of the
Northern Cape, the biggest of the nine provinces of South Africa. The valley was started as a
irrigation scheme during the 1930. From a small farming settlement this region developed over the
past seventy years to one of the
best exporting  agricultural  regions in South Africa.

With products like pecan nuts, cotton, olives, citrus,lucerne, groundnut's, maize, barley
wines , grapes, watermelon and peaches. Pecan nuts,  citrus and groundnut's export
increase every year.
